Anywho, I was explaining to a friend that I was combing through books looking for Newfoundland imagery and she wandered why I didn't just go out and take a few photos of my own. Now why didn't I think of that? So that's what I did on this beautiful day on my way to Lark Harbour to teach the Grade Five's how to weave on a cardboard loom. (Most enjoyable by the way.) I've also been dyeing up some 'Circle Shawls' in what are considered the 'trend' colours for this season. I hardly ever follow trends...in fact I like to set them!! lol
